We all want to perform well in anything we do. As individuals we bring this aspiration into the corporate world. As either employers or employees in any company, big or small, we can sense a business environment that is out of sorts or working less than at an optimum level. To treat the issue you have to first identify the problem and what we have below is a fundamental method for raising group awareness and framing the conversation.
We have all heard the saying, “It’s all in your mind”. The single biggest influence on our well-being is what is going on up there and how we are handling it. So how often do we ask ourselves the above question? Do we ever consider what role it plays in our ability to achieve goals or find happiness? Are we even aware of ourselves when we just suddenly drift away from a conversation, allowing our minds to wander? We may not be aware when this happens, but unfortunately, the person with whom we are engaged in conversation is.
Have you ever wondered why the 5 Principles are described as “Living”? It is because when you embrace them as your guide and conscious, you are making them a part of everything you do; they “live” with you. The Principles are just a normal part of being in the moment and the accompanying process of contemplation and decision making. Hopefully through the pall cast by this sluggish economy you still can see a bright light. It is not a surprise then to consider the Principles as a catalyst and directive for your entrepreneurial dream.
